Week 11 Waiver Wire Watch
Hello! We’re diving into Week 11 of Waiver Wire Watch.
The NFL weekend has wrapped up, marking the start of the second half of the 2025 regular season. This past weekend was notably robust for defenses and special teams, with over half of the units scoring at least five fantasy points.
With that in mind, let’s look at some D/ST teams worth picking up from the waiver wire before Week 11. Just to clarify, we’ll focus on players who are on rosters in 50% or fewer of leagues.
Week 11 Bye Teams
Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints
Dallas Cowboys D/ST (5.3%)
Hold on for a second. Before you scroll past, hear me out. Yes, the Cowboys’ defense has been pretty rough this season, allowing 277 points, which is the third-most in the league. However, there are some reasons I think they might perform well against the Raiders next Monday. For one, they’re coming off a bye week and have had two full weeks to prepare. Plus, they recently added All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams in a trade.
On top of that, the Raiders are a bit of a mess, especially with Geno Smith throwing 12 interceptions—second-most in the league. If there’s ever a chance for the Dallas defense to shine, it could be in this matchup.
Los Angeles Chargers D/ST (38.4%)
The Chargers won 25-10 against Pittsburgh, effectively shutting down the Steelers’ offense. They sacked Aaron Rodgers five times, intercepted him twice, and even recovered a fumble. Impressively, this marks their third straight game with at least three sacks, placing them fourth in the league with 29 sacks overall.
Next up, they’ll face Jacksonville on Sunday. The Jags’ offense isn’t really inspiring right now, especially given Trevor Lawrence’s recent struggles. With a top-10 fantasy defense heading into Week 11, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them have another strong showing in Florida.
Miami Dolphins D/ST (3.0%)
In a surprising twist, the Dolphins managed to defeat the Bills convincingly, with a score of 30-13. Their defense was impressive, forcing three turnovers, getting to Josh Allen for three sacks, and limiting James Cook to just 53 rushing yards. Those who took a chance on the Dolphins D were rewarded, racking up 13 fantasy points.
This was definitely the best performance from the Miami defense this season, and they’ll be taking that momentum abroad this Sunday when they meet their coach in Madrid. With Washington struggling without QB Jaden Daniels, the Dolphins might be able to take advantage and pressure Marcus Mariota on Sunday.
