After years of rumors circulating, she took to social media on Saturday to share a list of things she loves, including her new boyfriend, with whom she was rumored to have had an affair during her divorce from Jon Gosselin in 2009.
In her post, she displayed a collection of photos featuring her children and concluded with two beach pictures of herself with Nield, captioning them with “My boyfriend 😍.”
Although she didn’t provide his last name, fans quickly identified him and expressed their excitement. Comments poured in, with one user writing, “Steve!!! You and Steve!!! I love this!!! In response to a fan’s inquiry about her dating status, she confirmed, “Actually, finally yes,” adding she was “very, very happy.” A source later informed the New York Post that she was living with Nield and that their relationship was serious, with plans for marriage.
After Kate’s revelation, Jon shared a post on Instagram, hinting at their past struggles and stating, “Think about who really ruined your marriage.” He emphasized that he hoped people would listen to what he had to say.
Their son Colin also spoke out, voicing his concerns about his mother’s relationship, accusing her of being untruthful about their past. He recalled feeling marginalized during family vacations, expressing that he didn’t appreciate the romanticization of what he described as a painful betrayal.
Colin concluded with heartfelt sentiments towards his father, reaffirming their bond amidst the turmoil.
