Kristin Cavallari’s Take on Dating Actors

Kristin Cavallari shared her thoughts on why she avoids dating actors during a recent episode of her podcast, “Let’s Be Honest.” The 38-year-old reality TV star candidly referred to actors as “a bunch of nerds.”

In her discussion, Cavallari expressed her views on the insecurities that often drive individuals to pursue acting careers. “Actors are usually very insecure. I think that’s why they become actors. Because they want external validation,” she remarked.

She also added, “And I think a lot of them can be really cheesy,” further emphasizing her disinterest in dating within the acting world. While sharing her dating preferences, she mentioned her admiration for a recent love interest, Brandon Skrenner.

“He’s very sexy and the type of man I want, but I think he’s in a relationship,” she noted, acknowledging that Skrenner has been with personal trainer Courtney Salviolo since 2020. Ironically, Cavallari pointed out that he’s an actor, which complicates things since she stated she’d “never date an actor” due to scheduling conflicts.

The logistics, she explained, make it challenging: “The schedule is a nightmare from a logistics standpoint, and he won’t be able to come to me anytime.” In a previous episode from May, she joked about representing Skenner as a non-celebrity version of Charlie Hunnam.

“I want a real-world version,” said the creator of Uncommon James. “He’s like a normal guy who already has kids.” It’s worth noting that Cavallari has three children from her marriage to former NFL player Jay Cutler: Camden (13), Jackson (11), and Saylor (9).

Before her marriage to Cutler, Cavallari had relationships with several actors, including Nick Zano from 2006 to 2007. Interestingly, her best friend Justin Anderson revealed last November that he was dating Jason Statham, a former star of “The Expendables.”

As for her dating experiences, the “Very Cavallari” alum mentioned a significant coach and even a man she kissed back at Coachella in 2008, reminiscing about her past connections. Overall, it’s clear that Cavallari has some strong opinions on love and relationships, especially when it comes to the entertainment industry.
