Prince William Surprises on “Dancing with the Stars”

Prince William surprised everyone by making an unexpected appearance on “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday to support Robert Irwin.

During a video call, the 43-year-old Prince of Wales playfully greeted Irwin and his partner, Witney Carson, referring to him as “Twinkle Toe” and expressing how much he missed him.

Irwin mentioned the upcoming Earthshot Awards in Rio de Janeiro on November 5 and inquired about how things were there. Although he was set to attend, he had to cancel due to his commitment to the dance competition.

William smiled and said, “We need you here.”

He teased Irwin a bit more, stating, “You guys have a good chance of winning.” After offering his best wishes for the show, he ended the call, leaving Carson visibly astonished at having spoken with royalty.

“I can’t believe he just said my name,” Carson exclaimed, while Irwin responded, “Let’s not mess this up!”

Viewers were equally shocked by Prince William’s cameo. One fan expressed on social media, “Prince William from #DWTS wasn’t on my bingo card. So cool!”

Another fan humorously pointed out the contrast by saying, “How can you get Prince William to Zoom in but you can’t get Zac Efron to call his brother?”

Irwin, an ambassador for the Earthshot Prize—an initiative launched by William to tackle major environmental issues—has been a standout on this season’s “DWTS.” His recent performance earned him a perfect score, dedicated to his late father, Steve Irwin.
