Legal immigrants, unlawful goals: Muslims are taking a strategic approach in Texas, Sara Gonzales cautions

Concerns Over Immigrant Assimilation in America

Some immigrants arrive in the United States eager to embrace American culture, taking pride in their new citizenship and actively contributing to society. Yet, there are others whose motives contrast sharply, intending to undermine the nation.

This issue seems especially pronounced among certain Muslim immigrants, who, despite often entering the country legally and blending into the community, are perceived by some as a more significant threat compared to other illegal immigrant groups.

Sarah Gonzalez, a host on Blaze TV, has raised alarms about what she describes as a “silent infiltration.” She suggests this is a long-term strategy by some within the Muslim community.

The recent election of Zoran Mamdani, a democratic socialist, as the mayor of New York City exemplifies this concern. Gonzalez points out the significant number of foreign-born individuals who supported him, highlighting that this isn’t about potential illegal voting but rather about those who entered the U.S. legally and may have naturalized quietly.

She argues that this support stems from a resistance to assimilate and a desire to impose their values rather than embrace the American way of life. “They came here not to integrate,” she insists, “but to take over.”

While New York City garners attention, similar trends are reportedly rising in other regions, like Texas, where she’s based.

“If you think this is limited to New York, think again,” she warns.

Across the nation, particularly in Texas, there are vocal sentiments among some Muslims about their intentions. Gonzalez cites figures like Sheikh Uthman ibn Farouk, who has expressed radical views and called for the promotion of Islam in every household.

In one video, he said, “Don’t worry about the Islamophobes; their children will be Muslims.” He also expressed approval of severe Islamic punishments, stating, “I think it’s better than what you believe in.”

Another individual, Nihad Awad, a prominent figure in the Council on American-Islamic Relations, made a striking statement regarding the future influence of Muslims in media, law, and education over the coming decades.

Gonzalez points out that organizations are trying to establish extensive Muslim communities in Texas with houses, schools, and cultural centers, further emphasizing the perceived threat of this infiltration.

The establishment of the nation’s first Ismaili Center in Houston, designed to promote the Aga Khan’s teachings, reinforces her concerns. “Looking at places like New York, I can’t help but think, ‘You all are in trouble,'” she remarks, urging people to heed these changes occurring closer to home.
