Operation Dirtbag Targets Illegal Alien Sex Offenders

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the arrest of over 150 illegal alien sex offenders in a significant operation in Florida called “Operation Dirtbag.” The larger immigration effort, officially known as Operation Criminal Return, led to more than 230 arrests of criminal illegal aliens.

These individuals had extensive criminal records that included serious charges like attempted murder, sexual assault, and indecent acts involving minors.

“This operation was called ‘Operation Criminal Return.’ I call it ‘Operation Dirtbag’ because these people were sex offenders, but they weren’t just sex offenders, they were targeting children,” Noem stated in a recent interview.

“These 150 people will disappear from our streets. Our children will be safer,” she emphasized, referring to the illegal alien child sex offenders.

Noem further expressed, “These people should never have come to our country in the first place. The fact that they were sexual deviants and perverts, and now we’ve taken them off the streets, is amazing. We need to do more of that.”

She also praised Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for his support in this operation, suggesting it could serve as a model for similar initiatives nationwide.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) disclosed the identities and convictions of several individuals apprehended during the operation, including:

  • David Caridad Rodan, a Cuban illegal alien convicted of engaging in illegal sexual activity with a minor.
  • Oscar Alfredo Retana Marroquín, a Salvadoran national with a prior conviction for child sexual assault.
  • Arturo Sanchez Morales, a Mexican illegal alien convicted of incest and committing lewd acts with a minor.

Noem mentioned that despite challenges, ICE plans to continue operations in Democratic-controlled states and cities, arguing that sanctuary jurisdictions “promote themselves as safe havens for criminal illegal aliens.”
