According to the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, Eric Gillespie, 57, from Pittsburgh, allegedly attempted to arrange a meeting with a minor through an online platform known for being exploited by sex offenders.
Authorities reported that an undercover agent, posing as an adult, intercepted Gillespie’s messages. “Our Child Predators Section actively pursued this individual, who was online trying to contact children using a fake identity,” stated Attorney General Dave. The investigation revealed not only Gillespie’s attempt to connect with the girl but also other evidence pointing to his interactions with minors.
