Even if Darius Slayton doesn’t earn a coveted Super Bowl ring this year, he’s found a different way to celebrate. The veteran wide receiver for the Giants recently got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Anna Hall, sharing the news in a joint Instagram post on Friday night.
He proposed at the very track where they first crossed paths, which is rather sweet. Hall, who is the current world champion in the heptathlon, wrote a heartfelt caption: “My whole heart.” She added, “You have to say yes to me and you forever, right where we first met ❤️.”
Several teammates from the Giants chimed in with congratulatory messages for the 28-year-old player. Rookie Kam Skatebo, despite being sidelined for the rest of the season, excitedly commented, “Congratulations baby!!!!❤️.” Quarterback Jackson Dart also shared a nod of approval with, “Mom and Dad ❤️.”
Hall received support from fellow Olympians, too, like Jamaican sprinter Jenelle Bromfield, and gymnasts Suni Lee, Leanne Wong, and Kayla DiCello. Lee expressed her happiness in a sweet comment: “Congratulations!!🥹🥹🤍.”
The Instagram post featured a video of Hall showing off her emerald-cut engagement ring, a lovely moment captured for all to see. Slayton also added a touch of humor to the occasion, posting a picture of himself proposing and joking, “I was careful not to wear all white.”
The couple began dating in 2024 and made their relationship public about a year ago when they shared photos together online. It’s nice to see them celebrating this new chapter in their lives.
On another note, Slayton will be missing the Giants’ home game against the Packers this Sunday due to a hamstring issue, and Dart is out as well with a concussion.
