Elsie Hewitt Shares Struggles During Pregnancy

Elsie Hewitt is experiencing “extreme distress” while expecting her first child with Pete Davidson. The 29-year-old model opened up about the challenges of her pregnancy on her Instagram Stories, mentioning that she’s in pain “almost 24/7,” with Friday mornings being particularly tough.

She has attempted various methods to alleviate her pain, from exercise and stretching to physical therapy, acupuncture, and even steroid injections, but nothing seems to help. “Honestly, I’ve tried everything I can think of at this point,” she shared. “The pain just keeps getting worse, and it’s hard to walk.” It’s clear she’s feeling overwhelmed, stating, “I can’t see how it could get any worse.”

Hewitt suspects she might have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), a condition affecting connective tissue, although she’s previously disclosed her battle with endometriosis. “I just want to talk to others who have experienced pregnancy with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome,” she said, expressing her wish for some hope. “Does the pain ever go away? Will it get better?”

In earlier interviews, Hewitt admitted to being “shocked” by her pregnancy news, as she believed her endometriosis would prevent her from conceiving. “I was certain I couldn’t have children,” she confided.

She also mentioned having surgery for her condition shortly before learning she was pregnant, all the while holding onto hopes of starting a family someday. Over the weekend, she shared lighter moments from their life on Instagram, including funny videos celebrating Davidson’s 32nd birthday. “Unnaturally excited about VHS and old TVs,” she wrote, adding how much she cherishes him.

Hewitt and Davidson revealed their pregnancy in July via Instagram, joking about how everyone knows how it happened. Davidson expressed his feelings about becoming a father, saying he feels “very lucky and very, very happy” about the upcoming arrival.
