San Antonio Nightclub Raid Results in 150 Arrests Linked to Possible Venezuelan Gang Connections

Federal Agents Conduct Raid on Makeshift Nightclub in San Antonio

Early Sunday morning, federal agents raided a makeshift nightclub in San Antonio, detaining over 150 patrons on suspicion of illegal residency. Sources indicate that the venue may have connections to the Venezuelan gang Torren de Aragua.

The operation, which occurred at a food trailer that had been converted into a nightclub, unfolded on San Pedro Street and Bass Street. Law enforcement officials mentioned that those detained came from Mexico, Honduras, and Venezuela.

Exclusive footage from the raid captures law enforcement arriving at the scene. The FBI later confirmed that they, along with local and state partners, were carrying out court-authorized operations in that area. As for the aftermath, they stated that more updates would be issued as the situation develops.

This incident follows previous FBI investigations, including an April raid in Austin related to the same gang, which resulted in over 40 arrests and the confiscation of illegal drugs. During that raid, law enforcement targeted a location believed to be hosting members of Torren de Aragua and their affiliates.

At this point, it’s uncertain whether the events in San Antonio connect to a broader investigation into violent Venezuelan gang activity.
