Ali Larter Shines at The Landman Season 2 Premiere

Ali Larter made quite the entrance at the premiere of The Landman season 2, showcasing a sheer burgundy ensemble that certainly turned heads.

On the red carpet at Cineworld Leicester Square in London on November 16, she wore a burgundy bralette paired with a matching sheer cape, along with slacks and heels that coordinated beautifully. Larter let her blonde hair flow freely and chose minimal accessories like diamond drop earrings and a few rings—keeping it simple yet elegant.

In her role on The Landman, she plays Angela, the ex-wife of Billy Bob Thornton’s character, who has recently reconciled. Interestingly, Larter often appears in bikinis or form-fitting outfits throughout the series.

Just recently, she gave fans a sneak peek into her character via Instagram, sharing a mirror selfie that featured her in a red bikini while on set for Season 2.

“Playing characters who are so comfortable in their bodies drives me,” she noted, describing her preparation routine for a bikini scene, which involved early morning wake-ups, celery juice, coffee, workouts, and getting a spray tan.

Larter’s striking appearance came shortly after she expressed her satisfaction with leaving Hollywood for a quieter life in Idaho with her husband, Hayes MacArthur.

Reflecting on her life changes, she mentioned that during the COVID-19 pandemic, she temporarily attended school in California, hoping it would reopen. However, that didn’t happen, so they opted for online schooling. This transition allowed them to enroll their daughter in kindergarten in Idaho.

“And we lived in town and just skied with the kids. And we spent a really long time together as a family.”

She shared how important it was for her daughter to socialize with other kids, a sentiment echoed in her words about the fulfilling experiences they have had as a family. Larter then acknowledged returning to Los Angeles for the summer and realizing that city life “demanded so much from an actor.”

Beyond auditions, she noted that there’s an expectation to attend numerous functions like parties and charity events. Although she holds L.A. dear, her desire for a family-centric lifestyle prompted a significant shift in her life.

“We didn’t want to do that. We want to be with our kids,” she explained. “I decided to give it a go and see if it works.”
