Olympic Gymnast Suni Lee Talks Relationships and Career Highlights
Recently, Olympic gymnast Suni Lee shared her thoughts on what she looks for in a partner during an appearance on the “HAHA” podcast.
Lee, who is 22, mentioned that she prefers men who are athletic, funny, and considerate. “I feel like my type is an athlete,” she said, adding that she values emotional intelligence in a partner. “A lot of the guys I’ve met seem pretty immature, even if they’re a few years older than me,” she reflected. “Sometimes I feel like I act older than they do.”
Furthermore, she pointed out that she typically dates men about five years older than her. “I enjoy being with people who are not just focused on themselves but also care for those around them,” she explained. “If we go out and you only look out for me, that wouldn’t sit well with me. I want you to take care of me and my friends too.”
When asked about the numerous online videos of men reacting to her, Lee chuckled. “I think it’s really interesting. Honestly, I sometimes can’t tell if they’re joking or being serious, but I find it funny.” She admitted that she has watched quite a few of those videos herself, saying, “So if you think I haven’t, well, I have. I’ve seen them all.”
Since winning her second gold medal at the Paris Games last summer, Lee hasn’t taken a break. Last month, she was seen at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York. Before that, she made her debut in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition for 2025, released in May.
After the Olympics, Lee relocated to New York and has since become a familiar face at Knicks games, enjoying the celebrity atmosphere at Madison Square Garden.
