UNC coach Bill Belichick deals with family issues as daughter-in-law erupts

Jen Belichick’s Outburst Causes Stir

In a surprising turn of events, Jen Belichick, daughter-in-law of the legendary coach Bill Belichick, reportedly unleashed a lengthy and fiery tirade directed at his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. This incident took place after a game and has stirred up a bit of controversy, particularly as it marks Bill Belichick’s first season as the head coach of the UNC Tar Heels football team.

The incident is said to have occurred in Bill’s office on November 8, with the 73-year-old coach present. During this nearly hour-long rant, Jen didn’t shy away from expressing her feelings about Hudson, taking aim at everything from her fashion sense to her relationship with Bill. It was, to say the least, an intense outburst.

Despite the Tar Heels not having the best season—currently sitting at 4-6—Jen’s comments followed a win against Stanford. The excitement of victory quickly faded as Jen, apparently upset over an earlier exchange, let off steam. She accused Hudson of being “bat–crazy” while insisting that she was merely trying to “control” the situation. Jen claimed that Hudson was “twisting” her father-in-law’s mind and even pleaded for him to “wake up.”

In front of her husband, father-in-law, and Hudson, she expressed indifference to the backlash her remarks might cause, including the possibility of her husband losing his job or Bill disowning her. “He wants to fire you, he wants to disown me. I don’t care,” Jen allegedly stated.

Another notable part of the tirade consisted of her disapproving of Hudson’s clothing choice during games, famously calling out the snakeskin print she wore and suggesting she should eat more, saying, “You have to eat a burger, too.”

This wasn’t the first instance of Jen voicing her thoughts about Hudson. She previously made headlines during a “CBS Sunday Morning” interview when she interrupted a conversation about Hudson. Commenting on the situation, former New England Patriots players, including Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, noted that Hudson had served as a publicist in the professional realm.

In the wake of the incident, Jen took to social media to address comments made by comedian Nikki Glaser, who supported the narrative that Hudson’s behavior was unprofessional during interviews. Jen defended her stance, stating, “Publicists act in a professional manner and do not ‘storm’ on set to delay interviews.”

Fox News Digital sought a response from UNC Athletics about the altercation that reportedly occurred after the November 8 game, but no immediate comment was provided.

Bill Belichick’s transition to college football has been a turbulent one, fraught with challenges both on and off the field. Nonetheless, he reassured fans that he intends to stay with the Tar Heels, stating his commitment to the program remains unwavering despite open NFL head coaching vacancies. “My focus is solely on continuing to improve this team, developing our players, and building a program that Tar Heel fans can be proud of,” he mentioned in a recent statement amid speculation about his future.
