Turning Point is Planning to Support JD Vance in the 2028 Election

Erika Kirk, CEO of Turning Point USA, mentioned plans are underway for Turning Point Action to support Vice President J.D. Vance for the 2028 presidential race.

During a live show in Glendale, Arizona, Megyn Kelly encouraged Kirk, saying, “We look forward to seeing you all throw your full weight at Turning Point.” Kirk responded, “We’re already preparing.”

“My husband was very straightforward about this. Interestingly, one of our last conversations was about how he planned to support JD for 28 years,” Erika Kirk shared.

Kelly noted that Charlie Kirk had been “totally supportive of JD and was crucial in Trump’s choice of him.” Erika agreed, affirming that this was indeed true.

Reflecting on her late husband’s relationship with Donald Trump, Kirk described him not just as a president but as a “friend,” saying, “I’ll never forget that.” She added that Trump appreciated Charlie’s talent for rallying young individuals and promoting a positive message about the country.

“Of course, we have our flaws. All relationships do. We’re all human, but Charlie was always there for Trump, just as Trump was for him,” she said.

Later, Kelly asked about a comment Charlie made regarding Erika being “much more conservative” than he was.

Curiously, Kelly asked, “Why?” and Erika reflected on their discussions, saying, “There were many areas where we agreed, but I had a different view on immigration. He acknowledged my perspective then.”

“It was quite a while ago; the discussion was about student visas,” she continued. “We aligned on many issues, though I may have been a bit more direct about it privately.”

Kelly observed, “So some people want Turning Point to be ‘conservative-lite,'” to which Erika quickly replied, “That’s not happening.”

“Turning Point USA is definitely not going to be feminized, I assure you,” she stated.
