U.S. envoy gives Russian aides tips on how to sell Ukraine deal to President Trump: Report
A U.S. special envoy, Steve Witkoff, reportedly provided Kremlin officials with advice on how to present a Ukraine peace deal to President Trump.
According to Bloomberg, Witkoff had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which Foreign Policy Chief of Staff Yuri Ushakov shared strategies on how to approach the U.S. president. They suggested putting together a “Trump plan for peace” based on the recent Gaza peace deal.
