Nicol Kidman Celebrates Thanksgiving with Family After Split
Nicol Kidman marked her first Thanksgiving since her separation from Keith Urban by participating in the Turkey Trot alongside her family.
On Friday, the 58-year-old “Practical Magic” actress took to social media to share her appreciation for her loved ones, posting a photo on her Instagram Stories showing her with family members, including her sister Antonia Kidman and brother-in-law Craig Mullan. Urban’s daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14, were also in the picture.
Interestingly, Kidman’s two children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, Bella, 32, and Connor, 30, were not visible at the event.
For the Turkey Trot, the Kidman family donned matching turkey-themed t-shirts and athletic wear featuring the event’s title, “Boulevard Bolt 2025.” Kidman expressed her gratitude in the caption with a simple, “Thank you so much, xx.”
The actress’s split from Urban occurred in September after nearly 19 years of marriage, and she filed for divorce the day after news of their separation became public, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.
In the court documents, Kidman requested to be named the “primary resident parent” for her daughters, outlining an agreed permanent parenting plan that details how holidays would be shared and who would make major decisions for the children.
According to the agreement, Kidman would have custody of her daughters for 306 days of the year, while Urban would have them for the remaining 59 days. The documents specify that the mother will generally be responsible for their care, except for specific arrangements, such as Urban having parenting time every other Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
