Titans and Jaguars Clash in Heated Moment During Week 13 Game

In a Week 13 showdown, tensions flared between the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars just before halftime.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence found himself on the sideline attempting a last-second throw when he released the ball while being taken down. After the play ended, Titans defensive end Arden Key contacted Lawrence, prompting a reaction.

Jaguars offensive lineman Anton Harrison was quick to respond to Key’s hit, leading to an immediate confrontation. As Key tried to push Harrison away, he seemingly attempted to remove Harrison’s helmet, escalating the situation. Players and officials intervened to defuse the conflict.

Following the fracas, Key received two penalties: one for roughing the passer on Lawrence and another for his altercation with Harrison. These penalties boosted the Jaguars, helping them secure an advantage that pushed the game into overtime.

After the scuffle, Jaguars kicker Cam Little stepped up and successfully kicked a 45-yard field goal, giving Jacksonville an 18-3 lead as they headed into the locker room.

Before this game, the Jaguars aimed to maintain pressure on the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South standings. Meanwhile, the Titans were looking to regain their footing in a season that had derailed following the dismissal of head coach Brian Callahan, entering the matchup with a disheartening record of 1-10.
