Jordan Mason, Vikings vs. Commanders
The severity of Aaron Jones’ shoulder injury is still unclear, but it’s likely he’ll miss the game against the Commanders this week. If he can’t play, Mason is expected to step into the lead back role, given that the Commanders have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs this season.
Jones sustained his injury during last week’s game against the Seahawks and didn’t return. The issue doesn’t seem to be long-term, so he might still play this week. If heís out, Jordan Mason may take the lead, but it’s possible Xavier Scott could take over later.
Benson was injured in Week 4 and had arthroscopic surgery on his meniscus. He participated in limited practice before Week 12 but didn’t play. He was inactive last week and, given the limited practice on Wednesday, his current status is uncertain. It’s possible he faced setbacks, but there hasn’t been any recent update.
Omarion Hampton, Chargers
Hampton is still sidelined, sporting a no-contact jersey during practice last week. He’ll need positive developments to have a shot at participating against the Eagles on Monday night.
Kamara suffered an MCL sprain in Week 12 and missed the following week. Devin Neal took the starting role and had a decent number of touches against the Dolphins, though not as many as one might expect. We’ll see if Kamara can practice this week; that’ll help gauge his potential return.
