Kristen Bell’s Daughters Disapprove of Her Dress

Kristen Bell recently shared a light-hearted moment regarding her daughters’ reaction to the red dress she chose for the season 2 premiere of *Nobody Wants This*. During her guest appearance on the *Jennifer Hudson Show*, she revealed that Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10, were not quite on board with her outfit choice.

“They’re at an age now where they have their own opinions… Let me tell you a little bit about this red dress. They said, ‘No bueno,'” Bell explained.

When Hudson probed further, Bell confirmed, “They didn’t approve. They said, ‘It’s too sexy.'” The two girls seemed more accustomed to their mother’s casual morning look, with “hair tangled” and her breath described humorously as having “dragon’s breath.”

“They said, ‘I don’t feel it… I can’t leave the house like that,'” she continued.

Despite their objections, Bell chose to stand firm. “And I said, ‘Too bad. I’ll do that,'” she remarked, determined to wear the ensemble that featured a plunging neckline and sheer lace detailing.

Kristen and her husband, Dax Shepard, have been married for 12 years and share two daughters. Reflecting on their relationship, Bell mentioned how they first met at a dinner party in 2007, which led to a chance encounter weeks later at a hockey game.

During an interview, Bell fondly recalled Shepard’s quirky method of asking for her number, saying, “I invaded your privacy and took your phone number from Shauna. What do you think about that?” She laughed, expressing how she fell for him even before he fell for her.
