Chelsea Handler Surprises Jenna Bush Hager on Today Show
Chelsea Handler caught even Jenna Bush Hager off guard with her bold move to flirt with Italian actor Michele Morrone on Today with Jenna and her friends.
Handler, always one to keep things lively, appeared as a guest host on Friday’s (Dec. 5) episode. She shared amusing stories—like her “sexy” dog and a dinner party where rapper Wiz Khalifa inadvertently got everyone very high, leading to someone running into a glass door. When Handler and Bush Hager chatted with Morrone about his new film, Housekeeper, Handler’s light-hearted questions seemed to flirt with the actor.
Morrone shared that he once worked as a landscaper, recalling, “Many years ago, I worked as a gardener.”
Handler quickly interjected, “Actually, we need some landscaping work done. Are you still doing that?”
As Morrone pondered his response, Bush Hager appeared shocked, turning to Handler for a reaction, “That’s great. Do you want me to quit?”
Handler, maintaining her playful innocence, replied, “No, I’m just asking a general question. It’s morning now. So, I’m definitely not cheating on you.” The banter added a playful vibe to the conversation.
Morrone then mentioned his typical earnings as a gardener, stating it was “about $15 to $20,” jokingly adding, “Yeah, I’m cheap.” Bush Hager chimed in with a teasing look, “Oh, then she’ll understand.”
The flirtation continued as Handler asked Morrone about the numerous “topless photos” he shares online, referring to videos where he plays piano and rides horses shirtless. Bush Hager remarked, “That’s something you both have in common,” before bringing up Handler’s own Instagram posts of skiing in a bikini.
However, Morrone was hesitant, responding, “I’ve never skied in my life, and I don’t think I would ski topless. I think I’d freeze.”
Bush Hager playfully offered to give Handler skiing lessons, trying to play the role of a wingman. “I don’t like dealing with beginners, but I’d be happy to give you a lesson. Then I’ll see you later,” Handler teased, turning the moment into a light spectacle.
