Video footage captures a tragic incident involving a pickleball player who fell to his death after attempting to retrieve a ball at a sports facility in Malaysia. The incident occurred on December 2 when a 32-year-old player scaled a safety railing in Kuala Lumpur.

As shown in the surveillance video, he leaped onto a mesh net covering a gap, which collapsed under his weight, causing him to plummet to the third floor. Following the fall, fellow players rushed to assess the situation, but they soon learned he had died, as reported by Newsflare.

Mohammad Razim Ismail, the District Police Chief, confirmed the details in a statement, indicating that the player was attempting to fetch the ball from the third-floor court when the accident occurred. He noted, “This case has been classified as a sudden death.”

The officials from the Playa Racquet Club expressed their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends affected by this incident. They stated, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of life in this tragic incident at our TREC facility,” and asked for privacy for those impacted.

Additionally, a club representative urged the public to avoid making assumptions while the authorities carry out their investigation.
