Dr. Dre advises Gordon Ramsay to focus on cooking after he rapped 'Gin and Juice' in an advertisement

Gordon Ramsay Teams Up with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg

Chef Gordon Ramsay has made an interesting partnership with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, who is a close friend of Martha Stewart. They’ve collaborated to design a new cocktail shaker under the HexClad brand, which is connected to Snoop’s liquor venture, Still GIN.

This year, Ramsay kicked off collaborations with a Super Bowl ad featuring Pete Davidson. Now, he’s wrapping up the year with this new venture just in time for the holiday season.

The upcoming advertisement showcases Ramsay rapping to the classic “Gin and Juice,” a track that Dr. Dre produced for Snoop’s legendary 1993 album, Doggystyle.

In a humorous twist, Ramsay raps in his British accent, saying, “Drink some gin and juice, chill out,” while adding, “I’m thinking about money.” He then jests with Dre to “stick to cooking.”

Interestingly, the fun reportedly began behind the scenes. Ramsay had memorized the rap and performed it entirely. A source mentioned that everyone, especially Dr. Dre, was pretty excited about Ramsay’s unexpected rapping skills.

Dre and Ramsay had met at a private estate in Holmby Hills the night prior to filming, where they even shared some swimming time together. It was their first in-person meeting, and Ramsay brought some smart goggles for Dre to track his raps.

The day took a charming turn when Dre gifted Ramsay’s daughter a signed copy of his iconic album, The Chronic. Coincidentally, Ramsay opened his first restaurant just a year after that album’s release.

Snoop Dogg lends his voice to the commercial as a narrator, though he doesn’t appear on screen. He recorded a voiceover to add his flavor to the promo.
