Braxton Berrios has entered the conversation.
The Houston Texans return specialist had an interesting reaction after news of his breakup with Alix Earle surfaced over the weekend.
“What did I miss?” Berrios, 30, captioned a recent Instagram post that featured a photo of himself.
“Is this shady Braxton? I hope it’s not,” one commenter quipped, to which he promptly replied, “Definitely not.”
Berrios pinned a comment from a fan explaining, “People don’t understand the caption that references Drake’s song 🔥.”
Drake has a song titled “What Did I Miss?”
In the comments, Berrios also addressed his absence from “Dancing with the Stars,” mentioning, “Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to travel like that during the season.”
Earle and her dance partner, Valentin “Val” Chmerkovskiy, placed second in the show’s finale on November 25.
The NFL player and the “Dancing with the Stars” alum reportedly ended their relationship after two years.
Much of their relationship was long-distance, leading to the recent split.
Earle was enjoying herself at Art Basel in Miami when the breakup news broke.
“Can’t girls just go dancing?” she posted on Instagram, accompanied by photos from various events over the weekend.
Earle also dismissed rumors regarding Giants quarterback Jackson Dart sliding into her DMs after the breakup.
Dart has been linked with model Marissa Ayers, who was spotted in attendance at a Giants game during their recent loss.
Earlier this week, Earle hinted at feelings of change with a TikTok post, although she didn’t directly address the breakup.
Fans speculated that her message hinted at her recent split.
“Maybe my frontal lobe is still developing, I’m almost 25 years old,” Earle wrote on December 16, mentioning her usual party-focused mindset shifting to priorities like working out, meditating, and playing card games.
“Am I growing up, or am I just getting through this? Probably both.”
Berrios and Earle made their relationship known publically during the 2023 ESPY Awards in June, following his breakup with model Sofia Culpo.
