Pornhub Reports Rising Female Viewership
Pornhub has recently shared its annual report, showcasing some intriguing trends in adult video consumption. It appears that women are increasingly visiting adult websites, with a notable spike in numbers. In 2025, female visitors are expected to make up 38 percent of overall traffic, marking a 14 percent rise since 2015.
The company noted that they’ve been tracking the demographic data on female visitors for the past decade. There’s certainly been a shift observed in recent years, challenging the long-held belief that “only men watch porn.”
Interestingly, women constitute the majority of visitors from several countries, including the Philippines, Colombia, and Argentina. In Mexico, the numbers are nearly equal, with women representing 48 percent of visitors. However, in the United States, about 28 percent of all searches come from women, indicating that men still lead in this domain.
The report also dives into various adult fetishes among users in the U.S. Surprisingly, “Latinx” is projected to be the most searched term in 2025, outpacing “Mature woman” and “Asian,” which come in second and third. On a related note, search interest in “Indian” content has surged, while “fur” has seen a decline in popularity compared to 2024.
Pornhub’s study didn’t stop at demographics; it also explored engagement levels. Residents of Alaska are the most engaged, averaging nearly 12 minutes on each visit. On the other hand, Louisiana residents seem to spend less time, averaging just under 9 minutes.
It’s worth mentioning that although Pornhub is blocked in several states, including Florida and Texas, the company managed to analyze search terms from states where their site remains accessible. For example, terms like “Latino amateur” are trending in California, while New York users are more interested in “Dominican” content. Oddly enough, “Chic” topped the search list in Louisiana, and “Puffy Nipple” gained traction in Pennsylvania. These curious preferences paint a diverse picture of user interests across the nation.
