Jaguars Celebrate Big Win Against Jets
This Sunday turned out to be a memorable one for Trevor Lawrence and his family. After the Jacksonville Jaguars triumphed over the New York Jets with a score of 48-20, his wife, Marissa Lawrence, shared some reflections on Instagram, posting a collection of photos from the game, which improved the Jaguars’ record to 10-4.
“Good day to be a Jag,” she wrote, featuring a sweet moment of their one-year-old daughter Shay watching her dad in action.
In a standout performance, Trevor threw five touchdowns—his season best—racking up 330 yards, while also contributing on the ground. This level of play has certainly impressed his teammates.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Trev like this,” shared Jaguars running back Travis Etienne, reminiscing about their time together when they won a national championship at Clemson in 2018. “He’s on fire. You could see it… the growth I’ve seen in him is just incredible.”
At 26, Trevor is now in his fifth season with the Jaguars and his first under rookie head coach Liam Cohen. The team currently leads the AFC South and is looking strong for a playoff berth, something they haven’t achieved since 2022.
“Absolutely, this is as confident as I’ve ever felt,” Lawrence expressed about the team’s current vibe in the locker room. “It was a lot of fun to feel that energy. We just have to keep building and avoid getting complacent.”
Looking ahead, the Jaguars have crucial games coming up, including trips to Denver and Indianapolis, before a final home game against the Titans on January 4.
So far this season, Lawrence has tallied 23 touchdowns against 11 interceptions, aiming for what could be a personal best with six points per game.
