Maxx Crosby Expresses Frustration Over Injured Reserve Decision
Maxx Crosby, a standout player for the Las Vegas Raiders, is feeling “not happy” about the team’s choice to keep him sidelined for the last two games of the season. This update was shared by FOX NFL insider Jay Glazer on Sunday.
Glazer conveyed Crosby’s sentiments during “FOX NFL Sunday” as the Raiders gear up to face the New York Giants. This match is particularly crucial, as the losing team could end up with the opportunity to grab the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Crosby relayed his thoughts to Glazer, saying, “Jay, I play football. This is my job. I’ve been battling a knee injury since about Week 3, and I’ve kept playing through the pain. I thought they wouldn’t keep me out, but here we are. I just want to play with my teammates.”
Glazer noted that Crosby considers this decision “unacceptable.”
To express his feelings, Crosby took to social media over the weekend, posting a video of him playing basketball and jumping on a trampoline, seemingly to highlight his readiness to play.
The Raiders, on their part, justified placing Crosby on injured reserve. In a statement, they emphasized, “We’ve made the decision to place Maxx Crosby on the reserve/injured list for the remainder of the 2025 season after careful consultations with top medical experts. It became clear this was in the best interest of both the team and our players. Max is an ultimate warrior, having fought hard to compete since his knee injury.”
They further praised him, stating he is a true “Raider” both on and off the field, expressing eagerness for his return in 2026.
During this season, Crosby tallied up 10 sacks across 15 games, consistently showing his prowess by achieving at least 10 sacks in three of the last four seasons.
