Romy Reiner was recently seen marking her 28th birthday in a low-key beach gathering, which came after the tragic loss of her parents, Rob Reiner and Michelle Singer Reiner.
In a photo taken on Saturday, she was spotted outside her beach house with family and friends. The image was shared by the Daily Mail.
To keep warm, Romy wore a sweater and pants during the daytime celebration.
Her boyfriend, Alex Silverberg, was also seen walking their dog on the beach.
Since the shocking deaths of her parents, who were murdered at their home in Brentwood, California, on December 14, Romy has been residing at their beach house.
Sources have indicated that Romy, who lived nearby, was the first to discover their bodies.
According to reports, the medical records showed that her parents died after being stabbed multiple times.
Romy is said to have informed the police that her brother, Nick Reiner, 28, might be a suspect in the case.
Nick, who has a history of violent behavior and drug issues, reportedly left evidence at a hotel in Santa Monica before his arrest.
He was taken into custody shortly after the discovery of their bodies and is facing two counts of first-degree murder.
Nick has previously been diagnosed with schizophrenia and is currently held at Twin Towers Correctional Facility, with an arraignment set for January 7.
TMZ has reported that he intends to plead not guilty.
Interestingly, the night before the murders, Nick attended a Christmas party hosted by Conan O’Brien with their parents. Sources have mentioned that tensions arose during the event, leading to concern from Michelle regarding Nick’s mental health.
Rob and Michelle also had another son, Jake Reiner, who is 34 years old.
