Knives Out!
In an unexpected twist for San Francisco, a mixed martial arts expert with a unique approach is offering to tackle the city’s squatter problem. James Jacobs, the head of ASAP Squater Removal, claims to have a striking 95% success rate by using unconventional methods that bypass the police and typical bureaucratic delays.
Jacobs confidently asserts on his website that, “No matter how many people there are, no matter how smart they think they are, no matter how dangerous they are, we will always get rid of them.” He has over two decades of martial arts experience and is armed with an array of tactical gear, including swords, rifles, and smoke grenades.
His business promotes itself as a specialist in unwanted occupier removal, offering tailored strategies for the various situations involving squatters. According to Jacobs, his method includes extensive covert surveillance leading up to the confrontation.
As he puts it, “Unlike ninjas, we don’t hide in the shadows. We blend into society. We observe without being detected, even pretending to be homeless or workers. Our team monitors activities around the clock, capturing detailed evidence through videos and photos.” He emphasizes that they keep a close watch on residents’ daily lives, ensuring they go unnoticed.
Videos circulating online depict Jacobs and his team executing their eviction tactics while carrying concealed weapons. Despite the controversy surrounding his methods, Jacobs insists that what they do is legal.
Questions linger regarding whether the company has faced any complaints about this aggressive approach. Additionally, it’s uncertain if tensions with the squatters have escalated. Attempts to reach Jacobs and the San Francisco Police Department for comments have not yielded responses.
