Missing San Antonio teenager Camila Mendoza Olmos found deceased, determined to be a suicide.

Authorities in Texas reported on Thursday that a 19-year-old San Antonio teenager, Camila Mendoza Olmos, who was missing since Christmas Eve, has died by suicide.

Olmos was last spotted around 7 a.m. on December 24, just a few blocks from her residence. Her body was discovered in a field, along with a firearm, just a short distance from her home. This information was shared by a local news affiliate.

The Bexar County Coroner’s Office confirmed her identity and ruled that Olmos died from a gunshot wound to the head, determining it as suicide. According to the sheriff’s department, Olmos had previously exhibited signs of depression and suicidal thoughts, and there were no indicators of foul play involved.

It seems that her body may have been at the location where it was found for several days. In response to this tragic situation, her family expressed deep gratitude towards the community for their support during such a painful time. Nancy Olmos, presumably a family member, shared heartfelt thanks on social media, stating that Camila is now in a better place.

They requested privacy during this difficult period and urged others to keep Camila’s mother and brother in their thoughts and prayers, highlighting the profound emotional toll of their loss.
