Paige Lorenze to Skip Bridal Shower Ahead of Wedding

Paige Lorenze, who is engaged to tennis player Tommy Paul, shared in a recent interview that she intends to forgo at least one wedding tradition. The couple, who announced their engagement in July following three years of dating, is now in the midst of planning their upcoming nuptials.

Lorenze revealed her thoughts during a conversation with a magazine. “When we got engaged, we had an engagement party, but I think there will be many bridal showers,” she said. “Weddings are celebrations, and my mom is really keen on me having a wedding shower, but I’m not sure it’s necessary. There’s just so much to do already, so I think I’ll skip the bridal shower.”

Modern weddings often blend traditional and contemporary elements, which can vary significantly across generations. For instance, past trends that baby boomers know might be vastly different from what Gen Z is embracing, whether it’s in decor or attire.

Take Olivia Culpo, for example. She made news last year with her modest wedding dress, stating she didn’t want it to come across as “sexual in any way,” which stirred quite a reaction online. Despite the backlash, she remained unfazed as she tied the knot with NFL player Christian McCaffrey.

Lorenze, also a model and social media influencer, has recently launched a lifestyle brand called Daily Boy.
