DOJ states it has concluded the Biden administration's weaponization under Trump

The Department of Justice (DOJ) shared a summary on Wednesday of achievements from President Donald Trump’s first year, asserting that it has put an end to what it described as the political misuse of power that occurred under the Biden administration.

According to the DOJ, “Instead of ensuring safety for Americans, the Biden Justice Department weaponized its authority against political adversaries: conservatives, parents, pro-lifers, Christians, and especially President Trump.”

The DOJ mentioned that it aims to bring back “integrity, accountability, and equal justice under the law” following what it characterized as a “disarrayed” judicial system after Trump assumed the presidency.

Interestingly, FBI Director Kash Patel has backed Trump’s oversight of D.C. police, suggesting, “If we keep good cops as cops, they will produce results.”

The Justice Department claimed it has made 10 improvements since Trump assumed office on January 20. These include a push to tackle large-scale fraud in Minnesota, which the DOJ states has significant issues with fraud.

The department reported that 98 individuals faced charges in connection to the Medicaid Fraud and Related Cases Program, with 85 of them being identified as Somali and 64 currently convicted.

The statement highlighted initiatives aimed at reversing regulations perceived to target conservatives and parents, combating crime on a national level, enhancing law enforcement operations in major cities, seizing unprecedented amounts of illegal drugs, and achieving favorable rulings from the Supreme Court.

On Wednesday, Patel expressed on X that the FBI is making efforts to regain public trust in federal law enforcement. He emphasized, “Eradicating public corruption is a top priority for our nation’s leaders. We are tirelessly committed to this goal and will continue until justice prevails.”

The DOJ indicated upcoming enforcement actions in 2026, hinting at an increase in arrests, court victories, and lawsuits targeting those deemed a threat to the safety and welfare of the American populace.
