Jazz Chisholm goes to Nets game with fiancée as Yankees look into infielder situation

Jazz Chisholm kicked off 2026 by attending a basketball game in Brooklyn.

The Yankees’ second baseman was seen courtside with his new fiancée, Annalize Santiago, during the match between the Nets and Rockets at Barclays Center.

Chisholm, 27, along with the beaming Santiago, 25, expressed gratitude to the audience after a Yankees highlight clip played on the arena’s large screen.

“Jazz Chisholm is here and making some noise,” commented YES Network announcer Ian Eagle on-air, noting the presence of numerous Yankees fans around him.

Santiago, a two-time All-Star, revealed their engagement on Christmas, sharing a striking image captured beneath the Northern Lights in Finland.

“I’m not just a girl anymore; I’m his girl, my wife—oh my god, I can’t stop crying,” Santiago shared emotionally on Instagram. “I love you so much, oh my god, you cheated on me @_jazz3. You know he’s not playing me, oh my god.”

A few days later, Chisholm stirred up conversation by boasting about Santiago’s rumored OnlyFans participation during a livestream.

It’s been quite a busy offseason for Chisholm, who is wrapping up his inaugural year with the Yankees.

This season, Chisholm joined notable company, hitting 31 home runs and stealing 31 bases, becoming part of the Yankees’ elite 30-30 club.

However, his future in New York feels a bit uncertain.

Recent reports suggest that the Yankees have reached out to star free agent Bo Bichette and are gathering insights regarding Chisholm.

Bichette recently informed the team of his desire to shift from shortstop to second base, which makes things more interesting.

Not too long ago, Yankees GM Brian Cashman mentioned that acquiring the Bahamian player is “part of the solution,” while also stating the organization is keeping an open mind moving forward.

“He’s part of the solution right now,” Cashman said during the winter meetings, praising Chisholm’s athleticism and numerous skill sets. “He’s an All-Star second baseman, a fantastic defender, and can steal bases with power.”

Cashman stressed that while individual talents matter, the overall assembly of players will dictate the team’s future decisions on positions.
