Jordan Love and Ronica Stone Expecting First Child

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love and his wife, Ronica Stone, are welcoming the new year with exciting news—they’re expecting their first child. The couple shared their joyful announcement on social media, posting an ultrasound image along with a onesie that read “Baby Love, Spring 2026.”

The caption was simple yet heartwarming: “New year, new additions.”

Love and Stone crossed paths during Love’s rookie season in 2021, and they tied the knot in 2025. Stone, a talented volleyball player, played at the University of Oregon and spent three seasons with the San Diego Mojos.

Interestingly, the pregnancy announcement coincided with another significant update for Love—he was cleared from concussion protocol. He had faced a concussion during the first half of a recent game against the Chicago Bears, which the Packers lost 22-16. Love, who is 27, mentioned last week that while his symptoms had resolved, he hadn’t yet met the testing regulations to return.

“I have to go through computer tests and things like that, so if I don’t have any symptoms, I might feel fine,” Love explained to reporters. “But I think all the tests are there to see if your brain is working properly and you can think clearly.”

While Love is working through the protocol, the Packers have been dealing with their own challenges. Backup quarterback Malik Willis started in their last game against the Baltimore Ravens, but he too sustained an injury and was replaced in the second half.

As the Packers prepare for their Week 18 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, they are already set in the No. 7 playoff seed, giving coach Matt LaFleur the chance to rest Love before the postseason. This season, Love has demonstrated solid performance, completing 66.3 percent of his passes for 3,381 yards, alongside 23 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
