Jordan Hudson, 24, girlfriend of Bill Belichick, took to her Instagram Story recently to address online critics, as the couple celebrated their fourth New Year’s Eve together. The relationship between Hudson and the UNC football coach became public in 2024.
In a story, she reshared a post from January 1, 2025, expressing determination to support Belichick. The earlier message stated, “Nothing has changed for us in 2024 except ‘public knowledge’, but somehow everything has changed.”
She remarked, “Fourth calendar year, things are going well and I can’t wait to take the punches for you all in 2025.” Hudson added, “Keep swinging, keyboard warriors. Your illusions of justice only make me more believable.”
Although she didn’t elaborate further, her comments seemed to signal that both she and Belichick are prepared for another year in the spotlight.
What they did on New Year’s Eve this year isn’t clear, especially since UNC had a disappointing football season, finishing 4-8 and missing the bowl games for the first time since Belichick took over in 2018.
Their relationship has attracted attention since they were first seen together in Nantucket in June 2024, and they have been publicly supportive of each other since. The six-time Super Bowl champion even attended Hudson’s cheerleading events, such as her participation in the Miss Maine USA pageant where she also placed second.
This comes after a media frenzy in April when Hudson interrupted Belichick during an interview to ask how they met, sparking speculation about her influence on his career. Belichick has noted that Hudson is exploring career opportunities outside of UNC.
In November, Hudson announced a defamation lawsuit against journalist Pablo Torre over remarks regarding her age and their relationship. She shared a screenshot of a message challenging Torre’s claims but did not disclose legal documents relating to her case. Torre previously suggested there were concerns from Belichick’s family about Hudson’s influence and alleged that she had been involved in guiding Belichick’s affairs outside of football.
