Scott Adams’ Health Update
Scott Adams, the mind behind the Dilbert comic strip and a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump, shared some troubling news about his health. He announced that in May 2025, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, leaving him with little time to live.
In his own words, Adams described the experience: “This disease is already unbearable. I thought, ‘Hey Scott, are there any good days?’ No. No. Every day is a nightmare, and the nights are even worse.”
While his days seemed to shrink, a ray of hope emerged. The 68-year-old, during a recent episode of his show “Real Coffee with Scott Adams,” expressed his intention to convert to Christianity.
In a previous appeal to President Trump, Adams sought assistance in obtaining specific prostate cancer medication which, interestingly, his healthcare provider had approved but failed to schedule his infusion treatment.
There were indications from members of Trump’s administration that they were looking into the situation on Adams’ behalf. However, a crucial treatment for Adams was postponed last month due to a radiation session.
Just last week, he remarked on his show, “The chances of recovery are almost zero.” Adding to his challenges, Adams mentioned being paralyzed from the waist down and struggling with breathing issues linked to heart failure.
He suggested that January would likely be a period of transformation. Yet, he reassured his audience that these changes wouldn’t be medically related.
Reflecting on his journey, Adams revealed that many of his Christian friends urged him to embrace the faith, but he had always shied away from the topic. “I’ve never been a believer,” he said, but he recognized those who tried to convert him, stating, “Because if you’re not going to convert me, how am I going to believe in you?”
He then announced, “Today you’ll hear for the first time that that’s my conversion plan.” Adams felt it was important to convey that it’s “never too late,” and humorously noted that once he wakes up in heaven, his doubts would be resolved.
Adams has long grappled with existential questions about God, often critiquing both religion and atheism. He conveyed that upon acceptance of Christian beliefs, he felt the decision prudent, whether or not an afterlife exists: “If there’s something there and the Christian model is closest to it, then I win.”
After making his announcement, Adams expressed gratitude for the support he received on social media, underscoring his belief that “what happens next will be decided between me and Jesus.”
