Myles Garrett, the defensive end for the Browns, had a heartwarming moment thanks to his girlfriend, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, after he set a new record for the most sacks in a single NFL season during their recent 20-18 victory over the Bengals.
Kim expressed her pride for him in an Instagram Story, featuring a joyful picture of Garrett with a plate that had the character Cinnamon on it. “I’m so proud of you!!!” she wrote, adding, “Bake all the cinnamon rolls and make your wishes come true!!” along with a red heart emoji.
Garrett, who had asked for a trade from Cleveland earlier this year, made history by achieving his 23rd sack during the fourth quarter of the last game of the season, surpassing the previous record of 22.5 sacks held by Michael Strahan in 2001 and matched by TJ Watt in 2021.
Kim also shared a news graphic celebrating Garrett’s achievement on her Instagram, complete with enthusiastic exclamation points.
Garrett’s impressive career includes being the first NFL player to achieve at least 12 sacks in six straight seasons, and he’s the only player to have at least 10 sacks in each of the last eight seasons.
Following his successful trade request, he signed a four-year deal worth $160 million with the Browns.
Kim, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, is also gearing up to compete for the United States in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.
Garrett and Kim were first linked romantically in May 2025, confirming their relationship on November 23 when they were seen sharing a kiss on the sidelines before another Browns victory against the Raiders. They made their public debut together at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan earlier that month.
