Chloe Kim Celebrates Myles Garrett’s Record-Breaking Achievement
Chloe Kim, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, expressed her excitement for her boyfriend, NFL player Myles Garrett, after he set a new single-season sack record during the Cleveland Browns’ recent game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Following the game, she posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories featuring a beaming Garrett with the caption, “Proud!!”
In a sweet touch, Garrett was also seen carrying a plate of cinnamon rolls, a personal treat made by Kim. She playfully noted, “bake [you] Every cinnamon roll is your heart’s desire!!” accompanied by a heart emoji.
Garrett entered the season needing just one sack to break the record of 22.5 sacks, previously held by Michael Strahan and TJ Watt, which was achieved in a 16-game season. During a crucial moment in the game, with just over five minutes left, Garrett seized the opportunity to tackle Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, making history.
“It was as expected. It was very tough,” Garrett reflected after the game. “I knew they were going to make it difficult. I didn’t think I ever saw more than three singles on actual dropbacks during the game. If I did, I knew I had to cherish that moment. And I couldn’t have felt better.”
Despite his impressive personal achievement, the Browns ended their season without playoff appearances, compounded by the firing of head coach Kevin Stefanski after six seasons. Meanwhile, Kim is gearing up for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, where there are high expectations for her as a top contender in the women’s halfpipe event, hoping for her third consecutive gold medal.
The young snowboarder made a significant mark in her sport, having previously finished just ten points behind second place at the 2018 PyeongChang Games, where she won her first Olympic medal with remarkable style.
The opening ceremony for the Milan-Cortina Games is set for February 6th, and Kim hopes to continue breaking barriers as the youngest halfpipe Olympic gold medalist and the first female boarder to achieve consecutive 1080s.
