Mindy Kaling displayed her fit physique in a striking outfit during the Golden Eve event held in Beverly Hills, California, on Tuesday night.

As she graced the red carpet ahead of the Golden Globes, Kaling showcased her slimmer silhouette in a black cut-out embellished dress designed by Emilia Wickstead.

The 46-year-old actress exuded elegance, accessorizing with diamond earrings and a coordinating ring.

The former star of ‘The Office,’ who is said to have shed 40 pounds since 2020, has been the subject of speculation regarding weight loss medications. However, she attributes her physique change to simply eating less.

“Honestly, I just started eating less,” she mentioned in an interview on “Entertainment Tonight” back in April 2022. “I wish there was something more appealing about it, but that’s just how it is.”

Kaling also pointed out that even though life has returned to some semblance of normal after the pandemic, it doesn’t mean we can indulge freely.

The passing of her mother from pancreatic cancer in 2012 made her mindful of her health and vulnerability, leading her to become an ambassador for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

In talking about her health goals, Kaling has been candid about striving to achieve a certain appearance since she was around 14 years old.

“I used to think, if I don’t stop eating what I’m eating, I’ll just drink juice for six weeks,” she explained, noting that strict dieting often fails more often than it works. “This time, I’m trying to enjoy things in moderation.”

She emphasized that she wouldn’t give up her love for food. “I’m never going to be someone who can only eat spinach and salmon every day,” she stated.

Reflecting on past beliefs about exercise, Kaling admitted she once thought working out had to be grueling and unpleasant. Thankfully, she’s distanced herself from that mindset.

A year later, she feels more at ease with herself. “These days I feel really confident in my body, which is not something I could say for most of my life,” she shared, expressing her satisfaction with her current state.

Kaling’s health journey involves more than just dietary changes; she engages in weightlifting, running, and hiking, covering nearly 32 miles weekly.

“Working out can be a private time where people don’t demand anything from you, which can be really refreshing,” she conveyed.

This year, Kaling celebrated a health milestone, as her doctor confirmed she was in the best health she’s been in for years.
