Selena Gomez is kicking off her first full year of marriage in style. She made a stunning appearance on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards alongside her husband, Benny Blanco. Wearing a custom Chanel dress, she certainly captured attention at this midwinter event.
The black velvet gown was strapless and featured a remarkable neckline embellished with feathers, silk chiffon, and silk organza. It took an impressive 323 hours to craft and included 200 intricate embroidered details, as highlighted by the design company’s press release.
This was the couple’s first red carpet outing since tying the knot in September. Gomez accessorized her look with fine jewelry from Chanel, marking her first major red carpet appearance in the brand. Her glamorous finish included a bold dark lip, light blush, and winged eyeliner, channeling a classic Hollywood vibe.
Blanco complemented his black tuxedo with a striking diamond brooch and matching loafers, which added a bit of flair to his classic look.
Gomez, a familiar face at the Golden Globes, is nominated this year for Best Actress in a Television Musical or Comedy for her role in “Only Murders in the Building.” The show itself is also up for Best Series in the same category, with co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin competing for Best Actor as well.
Earlier this year, the 33-year-old had her own Cinderella moment in a pale blue Prada dress, which she paired with a dazzling Tiffany diamond necklace. Conversely, Blanco sported a monochromatic white suit that, to be honest, had a somewhat blurry look.
The couple had previously showcased coordinated black-tie ensembles at the Academy Museum Gala in October. For that occasion, Gomez donned a crystal-encrusted black velvet Armani Prive dress paired with a matching tuxedo jacket, while Blanco chose a full velvet suit to match her style.
