Dylan Raiola Transfers to Oregon Ducks

Dylan Raiola, regarded as the top quarterback in the NCAA transfer market, declared on Monday that he will be joining the Oregon Ducks. This announcement comes after the team recently faced elimination from the College Football Playoff.

Currently, Oregon boasts two standout quarterbacks: Raiola and Dante Moore, who is also seen as a potential top NFL Draft prospect. Moore previously guided the Ducks into the College Football Playoff semifinals, where they went up against the number one seeded Indiana Hoosiers. As of now, Moore hasn’t finalized his decision regarding whether to continue playing in college or turn pro.

Raiola, a five-star prospect, played two seasons with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, where he threw for 4,819 yards, achieving 31 touchdown passes but also 17 interceptions. Unfortunately, his 2025 season was cut short due to a fractured fibula. His father was a notable two-time All-Big 12 center at Nebraska.

The Ducks have found considerable success under head coach Dan Lanning, who previously worked with Mario Cristobal, posting a solid 48-8 record so far. He has steered the team to several College Football Playoff appearances, but they have yet to clinch a national championship. With Raiola’s addition, there’s a strong chance Oregon could be back in the national title conversation as early as 2026.
