Florida Man Charged in Shooting of Three Tourists

A man from Florida faces charges after a shocking incident that left three tourists dead. The Osceola County Sheriff, Christopher Blackmon, described the act as “horrible and senseless.”

Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, 29, was taken into custody on Saturday following the shooting of three men who were staying in a vacation rental adjacent to his home in Kissimmee.

Blackmon emphasized the premeditated nature of the attack, stating it was “ruthless” and said, “There was no conflict between these people. This was just a coincidence.”

Police arrived at around 12:13 p.m. on Saturday, responding to reports of a shooting in the area. They discovered the bodies of three adult males outside the rental property, all showing signs of gunshot wounds.

The victims had extended their stay due to car troubles. Identified were Robert Louis Craft, 69, from Holland, Michigan, his brother Douglas Joseph Craft, 68, from Columbus, Ohio, and their friend James Pucchan, 68, also from Ohio.

Shortly after, deputies found Bojeh inside his home next door. He was charged with three counts of premeditated murder and one count of resisting arrest without violence.

According to the sheriff, Bojeh often frequented the sheriff’s office. “I would say he was always a threat to the area,” Blackmon noted.

Previously, in 2021, Bojeh was arrested for allegedly firing shots at people in a gas station lot but was later acquitted by reason of insanity.

Currently, he is being held in the Osceola County Jail without bail while the investigation continues.
