Republicans Launch Investigation into Election Manipulation Allegations
Republicans in both the House and Senate have declared their intention to gather information and investigate claims that Democrats are utilizing illegal immigrants and refugees to influence elections.
A recent welfare fraud scandal involving the Somali community in Minnesota has raised concerns among many individuals.
As the intricacies of the Somali welfare fraud incident in Minnesota come into focus, reports indicate that Republican members of Congress are becoming increasingly vocal about their belief that there’s a systematic plan by Democrats to manipulate elections by employing individuals they deem as illegal immigrants and refugees, which may affect federal representation and funding.
Step 1: Bringing in Large Numbers of Illegal Aliens and Refugees
Republicans contend that Democrats “revoked President Trump’s executive order from his first term that aimed to exclude noncitizens from the 2020 Census.” They argue that President Biden’s decisions to open the southern border may lead to an influx of millions of illegal migrants over the following years.
Step 2: Relocating These Individuals to Democratic States
It’s claimed that liberal nonprofit organizations facilitated the movement of immigrants to battleground cities, assisting them in accessing welfare services funded by taxpayers.
Step 3: Offering Welfare to Immigrants
In Minnesota, a significant percentage of Somalis, around 86%, utilize Medicaid, which House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer pointed out is essentially free health care for them, unlike the Medicare system many citizens pay into. He elaborated that these benefits extend to food stamps, housing, and child care, leading to the formation of a substantial voting demographic.
Step 4: Welfare Fraud and Political Contributions
Comer mentioned that Democrats maintain influence in Minnesota largely because of the Somali population, which not only votes but is also increasingly donating to Democratic campaigns. He suggested that much of this financial support might stem from fraudulent activities related to welfare.
Since the U.S. Census began counting illegal immigrants and non-citizens equally with others, some believe the Democratic Party recognized the opportunity to open borders and direct these individuals to Democratic-majority states facing population declines.
This isn’t exactly new information; for some, it’s been clear how illegal immigration could tilt the Census in favor of Democratic states. The newly highlighted aspect is the significant welfare fraud, raising questions about the Republicans’ determination to address this issue effectively.
