Lori Loughlin is said to still feel resentment towards her estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, three months after they revealed their surprising separation.
An insider mentioned that the “Full House” actress is “still very angry” with Giannulli. Yet, another source shared that Giannulli hopes things will be resolved amicably, praising Loughlin as “a wonderful person and a wonderful mother” to their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose.
Representatives for both Loughlin and Giannulli did not respond when approached for comments. Although they announced their separation in October after nearly 28 years of marriage, it appears they haven’t filed for divorce yet.
A source previously disclosed that the relationship reached a “turning point” when Loughlin discovered “incriminating” messages on Giannulli’s phone following his prison sentence related to the college admissions scandal.
In 2020, the couple pleaded guilty to conspiring to pay $500,000 in bribes to secure spots for their daughters at the University of Southern California as rowing recruits. Loughlin served two months, while Giannulli spent five months in prison.
There have been comments from friends suggesting that Loughlin feels Giannulli had been taking advantage of her for years. A friend remarked that she had hoped he would change after his release, but things apparently got worse.
Reports say that Loughlin wants nothing to do with Giannulli anymore and is eager to reclaim her life. Meanwhile, sources also indicated that the scandal was the breaking point for their relationship, which struggled to recover afterward.
Prior to their split, the couple listed their Hidden Hills mansion for sale at $16.5 million. Since the separation became public, Loughlin has mostly kept to herself, while Giannulli has been seen spending time with a younger companion.
