Four people assaulted in different incidents in NYC subways within a day.

On Tuesday, police reported that four individuals, including an MTA employee and two teenagers, faced attacks in different incidents throughout the subway system, all within a span of just over 24 hours.

The first incident occurred on Sunday around 5:40 p.m. at the 74th Street and Roosevelt Avenue station in Jackson Heights, Queens. A man in a ski mask assaulted a transit worker, punching him in the face. The victim, aged 46, did not know the attacker, who reportedly shouted, “Do you know me?” just before the assault, according to law enforcement.

The assailant escaped, and the transit employee was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was reported to be in stable condition. Police noted that the suspect wore a black ski mask, clear glasses, a black jacket, black pants, and black shoes.

The next incident unfolded around 3 p.m. on Monday when an unknown individual slashed a 16-year-old boy at a different subway station in Queens. The victim was at the entrance of the Seneca Avenue M Station in Ridgewood when he was attacked from behind with a knife.

He was subsequently taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and was reported to be in stable condition. As of Tuesday, the suspect remained at large.

Later that evening, another teenager was stabbed during a brawl at a Bronx subway station. This time, an 18-year-old was stabbed in the back and cut on the neck and elbow during a fight with a man, believed to be in his 30s, at the Freeman Street platform in Crotona Park East around 6:30 p.m.

This victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, while the suspect fled the scene, leaving unclear what the fight was about.

A little while later, approximately 30 minutes post that incident, an altercation at the Rockaway Avenue 3 Station in Brownsville, Brooklyn, resulted in a 33-year-old man being stabbed in the forehead. He was transported to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. The attacker, described as a man in his 20s, also escaped and has not been apprehended.

These attacks occurred shortly after a separate incident where a man was randomly pushed onto subway tracks in Brooklyn early that Sunday morning. The assailant reportedly pushed the 35-year-old victim onto the tracks at 4:55 a.m. on 36th Street in Sunset Park without any provocation. Fortunately, the victim was rescued by responding officers and is said to be in stable condition.
