Trump Couple’s Wedding Anniversary Approaches
President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are set to mark their 21st wedding anniversary on January 22, 2025. A White House official mentioned that the President will return to Washington, D.C. tonight from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he plans to celebrate with a special dinner alongside the First Lady.
The two first crossed paths in 1998 at a party in New York City, where Trump met the model Melania Knauss. Their wedding was a lavish affair held at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida, attended by around 350 guests, followed by a reception at Mar-a-Lago.
The Wedding Details
Melania wore an extravagant $100,000 Christian Dior gown, featuring a striking 13-foot train and a 16-foot-long veil, which reportedly took over 500 hours to hand-sew, according to reports from that time.
In her recent memoir, Melania expressed her feelings about the wedding, acknowledging the enormity of the occasion while also focusing on her love for Trump. She said, “While my wedding was huge… I felt in my heart what every other bride feels on their special day.”
The reception was lavishly done, featuring 10,000 flowers and a menu that included caviar, Cristal Champagne, and other gourmet dishes. The ballroom at Mar-a-Lago was adorned with gold leaf and sparkling chandeliers, creating an incredibly festive atmosphere.
Family Life
Since their marriage, the couple welcomed their son, Barron William Trump, who was born on March 20, 2006. He is the eldest of Trump’s five children.
Later this month, Mrs. Trump will release a documentary titled “Melania,” which promises to provide an in-depth view of her life journey, including her preparation for the presidential inauguration and experiences in the White House. The film is described as a powerful narrative that unfolds over the 20 days leading up to Inauguration Day.
“This will be the first time audiences around the world will get a unique glimpse into my life and the significant events leading up to becoming First Lady,” she stated. She emphasized the importance of this story, noting that it hasn’t been told before and that it deserves a high standard of presentation.
“The days leading up to the U.S. presidential inauguration are defining moments that merit careful storytelling,” Mrs. Trump shared. “We’re excited to share this chapter of our lives with viewers around the world.”
The documentary “Melania” is set to premiere on January 30th.
