Sherone Moore’s Court Appearance Draws Attention

She was clearly upset, Moore!

The wife of Sherone Moore, the former University of Michigan football coach, showed her frustration on Thursday as he made his first court appearance following charges of threatening his assistant-turned-mistress.

At the status hearing in Ann Arbor, Moore, 39, was seen socializing with his lawyer while his wife, Kelly, who is also the mother of their three children, stood silently beside him.

Dressed in a dark gray suit and black tie, Moore managed a smile—an interesting contrast given the serious nature of the charges against him. Just weeks prior, he was hit with felony burglary and stalking accusations linked to an incident on December 10.

The charges allege that Moore broke into the home of Paige Shiv, his mistress, shortly after losing his coaching position due to their relationship.

In a disturbing turn of events, authorities reported that he entered her home, picked up a butter knife and kitchen shears, and allegedly threatened to take his own life.

“I’m going to kill myself. I’ll let you watch. My blood is on your hands. You’ve ruined my life,” he reportedly shouted during the incident.

This troubling sequence of events emerged after Shiv ended their two-year affair. Moore allegedly continued to harass her through calls and emails for two days, prompting her to disclose their relationship to the university.

During his two-season tenure, Moore was eventually fired for what the university characterized as an “inappropriate relationship” and for being dishonest during their investigation.

Latest Developments on Sherone Moore

After his dismissal, Kelly made a desperate call to 911, fearing for his safety.

“I’m worried my husband is going to get hurt. Can you please track his phone?” she was heard saying in a panicked voice.

She shared that he had recently informed her of his firing and was in distress, stating, “I told him I loved him and wanted him to come home, but I didn’t know where he was. He said he was on the highway.”

Despite the serious allegations, Moore’s wife has remained supportive, accompanying him in public appearances.

Currently, Moore has pleaded not guilty to three charges, including felonies for burglary and stalking. He is required to wear a tracking device while out on bail.
