A new boxing organization launched by UFC CEO Dana White is set to kick off tonight.
Zuffa Boxing, a partnership between TKO Group Holdings and the Saudi company Sera Sports, aims to follow the UFC’s model and host 12 events this year, beginning with Zuffa Boxing 01 tonight.
This main event features seasoned boxer Carlos Ocampo facing off against the promising Callum Walsh.
Walsh remains undefeated with a record of 15 wins, while Ocampo, holding a record of 38-3, boasts 26 knockouts and has contended for world titles three times.
Here’s what to know about Zuffa Boxing 01:
- Fighters: Callum Walsh (15-0, 11 KOs) vs. Carlos Ocampo (38-3, 26 KOs)
- Date: January 23rd, Time: 9 p.m. Eastern (main card)
- Location: Meta APEX in Las Vegas, NV
- Streaming: paramount+
With the UFC moving to Paramount+, Zuffa Boxing 01 will only be available to stream there.
Zuffa Boxing 01: Start Time for Walsh vs. Ocampo
The preliminary card for tonight’s event starts at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the main event at 9 p.m. ET.
How to Watch Zuffa Boxing Live
As mentioned earlier, Zuffa Boxing is a Paramount+ exclusive. Unlike some previous UFC events, there won’t be a pay-per-view option, meaning just a basic subscription is enough to tune in.
Paramount+ offers two plans: the Essential plan for $8.99 per month (with ads) and the Premium plan for $13.99 per month (ad-free, including Showtime titles and live CBS). Both plans allow access to Zuffa Boxing and UFC events.
Can I Watch Zuffa Boxing for Free?
Unfortunately, no. Zuffa Boxing is locked to Paramount+, and they recently removed their free trial option.
