Melania Trump Hosts Film Preview at the White House

Melania Trump held a black-tie sneak preview for an Amazon-MGM Studios film at the White House over the weekend, according to reports. This event, some say, was quite the gathering.

The guest list for Brett Ratner’s documentary, set to premiere on January 30th, supposedly included notable figures like President Trump, their son Barron, Jordan’s Queen Rania, and Apple CEO Tim Cook. Other attendees were reported to be prominent executives from companies like AMD, General Electric, and Amazon, along with venture capitalist Jim Breyer and producer Fernando Sulitin, among others. There were also some familiar faces in the mix, like photographer Ellen von Unwerth and entrepreneur James Packer.

The film, highlighting Melania Trump’s journey back to the White House, will reportedly open in 20 markets on January 29th. Interestingly, I heard it’s the first movie President Trump watched all the way through, which is quite the milestone.

As for the event itself, guests participated in performances with a military band, featuring a song titled “Melania’s Waltz” along with other famous film scores. It seems Melania took charge of organizing the affair, which also showcased limited-edition popcorn buckets and emphasized a black-and-white theme.

Attendees received more than just entertainment; they got a custom popcorn container, a limited edition of Melania’s book, along with framed collectible screening tickets, and even some cookies—talk about a sweet touch! The cocktail reception at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue drew quite a crowd, including personalities like Mike Tyson, branding expert Peter Arnell, and singer Jonathan Cain from Journey.

This week, Melania Trump is also slated to ring the bell at the New York Stock Exchange, potentially to bolster interest in the project. A source mentioned her intention was to gather a group of “cultural iconoclasts” for the event. The film itself was purchased at a significant price of $40 million, which indicates quite a level of expectation surrounding its launch.
