Prince Harry and Meghan Make Surprise Appearance at Sundance Film Festival

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan surprised attendees by appearing at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival shortly after Harry’s emotional testimony in a British tabloid trial.

The couple attended the premiere of their documentary, “Cookie Queens,” in Park City, Utah, on Saturday.

They took photos with actress Amy Redford, festival director Eugene Hernandez, and the documentary’s director, Alisa Nahmias.

Harry opted for a casual look, wearing a down jacket, green pants, and brown boots. Meanwhile, Meghan appeared stylish in a black knit sweater and flared denim jeans, her hair parted down the middle.

Both will serve as executive producers for the documentary, which chronicles the experiences of four Girl Scouts during cookie season. This project holds particular significance for Meghan, who was a Girl Scout in California, where her mother, Doria Ragland, was her troop leader.

In a heartfelt moment, Meghan even took the opportunity to meet the featured Girl Scouts, hugging them and chatting with their parents.

These public appearances come just days after Harry testified at London’s High Court, revealing the heavy toll that media scrutiny has taken on their lives. He described Meghan’s experience as a royal as an “utter disaster” due to relentless reporting.

Harry shared his desire for an apology and accountability, expressing despair about the ongoing media attacks that have made his wife’s life “absolutely miserable.” He described the trial as fundamentally wrong and a “terrible experience,” fighting back tears.

Following his testimony, a representative noted that Harry’s strong demeanor seemed vulnerable under cross-examination. Additionally, it was mentioned that the questioning was brief and failed to address several key points of his case.

Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan have settled in a $14 million home in Montecito, California, where they reside with their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
