Bill O'Reilly Shares Information About His Health and When He Plans to Return to Television

Bill O’Reilly Addresses Health Issue

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly shared on his website that he was hospitalized due to a “genetic disorder that causes internal bleeding.” This revelation came in a column published on Saturday, following an earlier update where he mentioned experiencing an unspecified illness.

O’Reilly had initially announced his health concerns on Tuesday and informed his audience that his show, “No Spin News,” would be back on air on Monday night after a brief break due to his health issues.

In his Saturday column, he expressed surprise at the response he received regarding his condition, stating, “Sitting in the hospital for four days gives you a lot to think about.” He mentioned he is working with a capable medical team, led by Dr. Ira Jacobson, to help manage his situation.

He noted, “Thank God we don’t have socialized medicine in this country,” reflecting on the care he’s receiving. Additionally, O’Reilly committed to “fight the good fight” against his illness, acknowledging that others face more serious health challenges.

His reflections also included thoughts on longevity, faith, and the overwhelming support he received, although he did remark on some people trying to add to his stress. “Karma will deal with them,” he added, emphasizing that the goodwill from others significantly outweighs the negativity.

Prior to that, he mentioned he was in a medical facility in New York City, getting ready for his upcoming broadcast. O’Reilly has continued to appear on various platforms, including his own webcast “No Spin News,” which he launched after his exit from Fox News in 2017 amid several allegations of misconduct, which he disputes.
